I have a HD2000 and a Samsung E8000 plasma TV. I need set hdmi ouput to full RGB mode. but I can't find "Quantization Range" Label in Monitor / TV Settings. there is only a "IT Content" Label.

what's wrong? is there a fix or workaround?

    Hello,

Thank you for your fast response.

If the The Extended Display Information Data (EDID) video capability data block indicates that Quantization range is selectable, The Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator control panel will show the quantization selection options under monitor/TV settings and it will get applied as well, so pretty much if the option is no there is because is not being detected by the the Extended Display Information Data (EDID).

    Check with the monitor manufacturer

    Regards,

    Michael

I guess so. but you know, sometimes TV manufacturer give incorrect EDID data, they don't treat these things seriously. I can select Quantization Range (HDMI black level) on my TV,  but EDID doesn't show this.

I think that intel should open this option to let user determine what to do. some previous drivers for Vista have this option, AMD's card have this option too.

is there any other workaround? regedit or other way...
