Could you please verify if the Intel® Wireless Display software came pre-installed and enabled by your computer manufacturer on this case Samsung*?.
Please note that the Intel® Wireless Display software is a platform dependent technology that needs to come pre-installed and enabled by the laptop manufacturer and also your system needs to comply with a list of requirements that you can find under the following link:

Some of the system requirements in order to use the Intel® Wireless Display software are the following:
*Intel® Wireless Display-enabled PC, compatible adapter, and TV. 1080p and Blu-ray* or other protected content.
*The compatible wireless adapters are the following:
Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 1000, 1030, 2200, or 2230
Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 2200 for Desktop
Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6200, 6205, 6230, or 6235
Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6205 for Desktop
Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N + WiMAX 6150
Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N + WiMAX 6250
Intel® Centrino® Ultimate-N 6300
If your system does not meet the minimum requirements unfortunately the Intel® Wireless Display won’t work.
Please also note that there is no way to activate or enable this option in your system is this was not pre-installed by Samsung*.

Intel wireless display are not pre installed on my computer
But totaly compatible with widi technology.
After readind a lot of post i try to downgrade
Intel wireless display to 3.0.13 but didn t work with driver intel hd4000.
After that, i install driver hd2000/3000 for windows 7 and then widi works fine with my belkin screencast.
Is there any solution to work widi with driver hd4000 ?
At work we tested on 3 differents pc (same processor and intel n6235.widi compatibilty) and it work only with old driver hd 2000/3000 .
I read a lot of forum about that subject and all poeole have the same problem with samsung or asus i5 / n6235 and windows 8.

i got: intel proSet v 15.5.6
WiDi Software v3.5.40.0
the widi soft run and reconnize my belkin after that: install succesfull appear on tv and then the soft try to connect the laptop bur nothing append i'm lock on this screen (firewall desactivated)
please intel can you help me?
I Finally got widi to work by running Samsung update several times, widi is not part of the base install!

I've update all soft/driver by Samsung update utility, my belkin screencast is update to the last version for Windows 8 and still doesn't work.
OK, this has been a nightmare for me as well. To get it to work I had to connect the Belkin to a device running Windows 7 and the screencast connected (after minimum 3 tries!). The Intel software then prompted to update the screencast to firmware from 2.x to 3.5.28.0. After that it would connect to ATIV Pro win8 and prompted to update formware to 3.5.31.0.
Now it connects but I'm getting screen freezes on screencast - on to next problem.
This does not look like a mature workable solution.

it's work perfectly for me now after many many test , upgrade,downgrade...
I do this steps:
You must reset the belkin screencast to the default value.
After that turn off your firewall
Launch belkin adapter
run intel widi soft and start the install of belkin adapter.After that, upload the belkin driver to the last version.
The belkin screencast reboot.Launch intel widi soft and connect to belkin, after that for me it work but not fine (freez, sound problem..)
Now close widi soft and install intel widi 3.5.41.0 or upgrade with Samsung update
After that for it's work perfectly!

It's work perfectly for me now .
I use recovery to launch the default value samsung and then i do this step:
download/install
After that for me it's work but not fine (freez, sound problem...) so download intel widi 3.5.41 or use Samsung update.
Install the soft and reboot.
After that for me it's work perfectly!! =)
