I am trying to use the processor identification tool bpid_e32.exe to identify my xeon processors on my linux machine.
The tool can be found here: Download Center
This is the 'OS Independent' version of the tool.
This appears to be a 16-bit DOS exe. When I try to run on windows 7 I get an error that this file is not compatible with Windows 7....etc
I assumed that by running this EXE I would be able to create a 'bootable CD' that I can then use to boot my computer with.
I am unable to find any documentation on how to create a bootable disk with this tool.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Sanjay
