Seems if I install RST using the Administrator account.... then rename that account (many reboots later), the icon in control panel for RST breaks saying there is no such application and the tray icon for the monitoring service disappears.
Reinstalling RST fixes this, but i'm not sure why it occurs. Similar control panel items (java, flash, etc) do not break. Other programs tray icons continue to work. Annoying if I ever desire to do something like this on a mass scale.
