Samsung Series 7 Chronos NP700Z7C-S01UB Widi not working

Hi All,

I have been fighting with WiDi on this laptop for the last 5 days.  I bought the laptop from BestBuy.  Samsung and BestBuy both advertise the laptop as WiDi compatable (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Samsung+-+Series+7+17.3%26%2334;+Laptop+-+8GB+Memory+-+1TB+Hard+Drive+-+Titan+Silver/6774648.p;jsessionid=5A12438E06FAC7B5349A8279D2DDE898.bbolsp-app06-29?id=1218806578058&skuId=6774648&st=Samsung%20Series%207%20chronos&cp=1&lp=3, Features - Notebooks NP700Z7CH | Samsung Laptops)

I partitioned the HDD and installed Windows 7.  I have every driver up-to-date (using Intel's driver update utility).  When I open the WiDi program and press scan, the prorgram never scans and quickly returns to the screen saying no adapters found.  The TV is displaying the "Launch Intel WiDi to connect to this adapter" so I know the adapter is working (I'm using a Netgear Push2TV 3000).  I also installed My Wifi dashboard, but it only installs the "Lite" version even though everything meets the requirements for the "Full" version.  I can't seem to understand whats wrong, here the specs for the laptop:

CPU: Core i7-3635QM

Memory: 8GB

System: Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit

WiDi version: 3.5.40.0

ProSet/Wireless version: 15.02.0000.1258

Intel HD Graphics: 9.17.10.2867

My Wifi Dashboard: 15.01.1500.0156

Network adapter: Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235 driver version:15.2.0.19

WiDi adapter: PTV3000

I currently have the Nvidia 650M chip disabled and no drivers installed.  I currently have the Nvidia 650M chip disabled and no drivers installed.  Installing the drivers makes no difference on WiDi program.

Cheers,

Shivels
