I've got a Motorola MW810 that needs reloading, but I'm unable to boot to an XP cd. I get the 0x0000007B stop code indicating I need to load the drivers for the SATA controller. I've tried creating an XP disk with the drivers available on the Motorola site using nlite, but still cannot access the hard drive from the XP disk. I thought I would try using drivers from Intel instead, but am having trouble locating the correct download. Looking at one of our other MW810s that will boot, the SATA controller shows as Intel(R) 82801GBM/GHM (ICH7-M Family) Serial ATA Storage Controller - 27C4. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Keep in mind that Microsoft* Windows* XP requires those drivers to be loaded through a floppy. You may use a USB floppy but it needs to be listed on Microsoft’s web site as compatible. Refer to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/916196/en-us for more information on compatible USB floppies.
You can also use nLite as you did, just make sure to extract and put all the files in the installation CD you are creating
