Can Not Connect to WiFi with Intel WiMAX 6250

I have a Toshiba Satellite A665.  The wireless card/adaptor is a Intel Centrino Advanced-N + WiMAX 6250.

I installed the 'Intel PROSet/Wireless WiMAX Connection Utility.  When I start the utility, though, it only gives me the option of searching for WiMAX networks.

I can not get an option to search for my own wifi.

I have turned WiMAX off, then right-clicked on the Utility icon in the taskbar.  It does not give me a "Turn wifi On/Off" option as described in the instructions I found in the product's help file.

I believe that when I first installed the software, it asked me to select wifi or WiMAX.  I have removed and reinstalled the drivers/software and done a system restore to before the software was even installed, but it still will not give me that option again.

Any help is appreciated.
