DZ77GA-70K - USB 3

I have been trying to connect a Seagate GoFlex USB 3.0 slim drive to the USB3 ports on the back of my DZ77GA-70K motherboard for weeks but to no avail. The drive works fine in other computers with USB 3.0 ports, but this mobo won't even detect the drive exists, though it does spin the drive up. When it communicates with other computers, the drive lights up. In this case, it doesn't.

I've heard others mention problems with the USB 3 ports as well. What can I try to troubleshoot?

Hello,

Here are our recommendations for this issue:

- Test the system out of the chassis over a non static surface, ensure it is properly grounded
- Test with a different 3.0 USB device if possible in order to narrow the issue properly
- Check for conflicts in device manager, if there is any install the latest 3.0 USB drivers from our website:
