I have an HP laptop model dv7-6157nr and a Netgear PTV2000 WiDi adapter. My laptop and TV both have the same resolution 1920x1080.
After I connect to the TV screen, the laptop display turns off. On the TV screen I can see that the display setup has changed from "Duplicate these displays" to "Show desktop only on 2". I can change it back to "Duplicate these displays" and the laptop screen reappears, but that is very anoying and I should not be forced to do it every time I connect to the adapter to watch my laptop display on the TV screen.
Does anybody know why this might be happening?
