Just curious if anyone has used 520 Series SSD's in a server environment? Ideally it would be a for a web server. Any thoughts or ideas would be great!
Other question:
Is no TRIM support in a RAID array over exaggerated? Like if two 520's are in a RAID 1. I have always heard the stories of SSD's (mainly in RAIDs) are bad idea in server environment because they can greatly slow down and can quickly reach that state, when the drive fills up without any TRIM command to erase the cells . . . . or has the built in Garabage Collection on a lot of these drives kind of diminished this myth?
