What I would recommend you do is the following.
1. Remove the Intel® WiDi software that you have installed.
2. Go to the following page and follow the steps listed there. http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wtech/iwd/sb/CS-031109.htm
3. The Intel® WiDi software should be working.
