Chipset and motherboard selection

Currently Being Moderated

I'm considering an Intel chipset and Media series motherboard for a new desktop computer. Can anyone from Intel tell me whether the list of compatible processors is current? (I believe the list is the same for all motherboards in the Media Series.)

hi Servant,
I checked the link you presented ,your Motherboard is Z77 chipset ,and just need the package 1155 can
compatible ,if you are sensitive with the performance ,you can choose I5 3770K,this unit is the suitable for you choose.

I'm interested in the lower power versions of the third-generation i7 processors. The compatibility list doesn't include any, so I'm wondering if that list is current.
