I have tried the demo with driver 8.15.10.2778 and was able to start it.
this driver not support iGPU 4000. can you please test it again with v2761 or any driver which support intel hd 4000 ?
8.15.10.2778 of course supports the HD4000. Maybe you have to modify the inf. I guess some OEM with its custom inf released that.
can you please send me download Link for this driver and modifyd .inf for HD 4000 ?

I installed this driver, but it not helped. Timeshift show 1 second black screen and back to desktop
btw, this driver is very slow and i think is not for desktop pc. with the new win8 driver v2792 i have 20% more power.
I only tried the demo, maybe it's a different story for the full game.
I have read in google many people also have problems to start with the demo.
if i install my nvidia card and choice Intel HD as Primery VGA card, then Timeshift start with any intel driver.
have you nvidia or Ati gfx card in your system ?
Ok just tried the full game and can confirm this problem. No, I haven't a dedicated card in my system when I use the integrated graphics. On my Nvidia card the game starts.

Timeshift only works on systems with discreet GPUs (non-local video memory, ie dedicated video memory). It will not work, as designed by the game manufacturer, on integrated graphics based systems,
We have to blame the game developers than, maybe we should ask them for a patch because the demo worked just fine. I see no reason why they should block iGPUs in the full, really odd.
