I wonder if they actually test new bios at least once before release. The "downgrade" bios option should always be available.
In the past when i was updating BIOS of my customer i was like ... no worry be happy. But now i must have another motherboard in case the actual motherboard stop working correctly after new bios update. I know Intel was slower to release new product, but too much testing and no testing ...

The Product page and Download page for the DZ68BC have been pulled from the Intel website. Does this mean the board has been discontinued?
Could mean that they are updating the download section (new BIOS perhaps?). I doubt they've dropped support for the board, they're still releasing BIOS updates for older H61 boards. Could be they are halting production of the board in favor of the Z77 boards but I doubt they'll quit supplying updates for it. If they do then I'm going to get in touch with them and request a new board that isn't being phased out so quickly (box says it has a 5 year warranty).
I am seeing both the Product Page and Download Page just fine.
Maybe it was just a temporary website glitch?
I might as well pile on while I'm here... I did a lot of research and comparisons before finally choosing Intel. A good part of that decision was the perception that Intel would provide top quality and responsive support. That perception has pretty much been obliterated by the lack of response or fix for dz68bc bios 0035.
I keep getting "Page Not Found" errors and I tried both Mozilla and IE9. All of the links for the other boards work but not for the DZ68BC.
I just tried both again -- and both display just fine (using links in my previous post). I'm using IE9.
Perhaps some dns issue from your location?
EDIT: Nevermind, I see you say the other links work fine so it isn't DNS.
Are you using saved links? Maybe they changed... Did you try the links in my earlier post?
Well, today I'm going to change my SB 2500k with the new IB 3570k (I hope). If the 0035 BIOS was made especially for Ivy Bridge processors, then the board should work just fine (at least in theory). If not.....then Intel will have to explain why the board is still on sale, if it doesn't offer support for any of their processors....

The download site has a new version of the tech. spec . documentation for this board. Shows a new AA# 403 which appears to have bios version 035 preloaded. Wonder what happens if you overclock that board? Newegg had deep discounts on the DZ68BC a few weeks ago, knew someone that bought one and it had AA# 402 and bios 028 loaded. With those deep discounts I suspected something was up.

For the last couple of weeks I have been battling with an issue on a fresh build that has a DZ68BC and i7-3770 processor intermittently getting into a state where the board will not initialise.
Once it gets into that state, only defaulting the BIOS will get it going again. I'm not overclocking or anything - the only settings that I have changed from default are configuring RAID and turning of network boot.
To my mind, this is another incarnation of the BIOS issues with this board.
