Intel has not validated any 3TB HDDs on the RMS2AF080 RAID module. See the Intel® Integrated RAID Module RMS2AF040/RMS2AF080 Tested Hardware and Operating System List for current validation details.
You'll also see there that the S3420GPLX / S3420GPRX server boards were tested with the RMS2AF080 RAID module.
RAID 5 is supported by the RMS2AF080 RAID module see the Intel® RAID software user's guide for details on how to configure and maintain RAID arrays.
