Hi
We have 19 DQ57tm, 58 DQ67sw motherboards amongst others. We purchased the dq range only for the amt functionality. I now have about 8 new dq77 boards, but have no way on enabling the amt features in the bios like the previous motherboards. Can anyone explain how to enable amt for kvm access ? I cannot find any info in the manual or searching online to do this.
Thanks
Hi,
We have just purchased the same board here.
The ME Bios is located in another area.
Turn on the computer, press CTRL-P, continuously until it appears. That seems to do the trick. they changed the layout and options slightly as well.
Cheers
Hi David
Thanks for your response. It is working, I can log into the mebx. Only problem is its completely different to the previous board. Im not sure what I am doing wrong but when when I try to connect with vnc, it gives me the error " insufficient permissions to access ". I can log into the amt via http://192.168.0.2:16992 with the admin user and password. Just cant get vnc to work. Any suggestions ?
Truly appreciate helping me find the amt bios settings.
Regards
What processor do you have?
If its the i5-3450, it doesn't have vPro. There is a few i5, i7 that don't have vPro capabilities, you have to check if it does 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i5 Processors (Desktop)
Might be related to this thread, as they were having the same issue.
