I am new to this and was wondering if anyone can help me.
I have a dell inspiron 15r n5110 with core i5 processor and 8 gigs of ram i put in myself.
I have a philips 40" tv also.
My belkin screencast 2.0 was working fine for a few weeks but then started disconnecting at irregular intervals.
I updated all the firmware and no the box disconnects very often.
When the box works it is fine and is rarely glitchy. But then its just keeps disconnecting after a minute or so.
every time it disconnects i can reconnect easily but it is very annoying.
I was wondering if anyone could help me troubleshoot or know of any automation scripts that reconnect when disconnected maybe?

Try changing the power profiles if you have any on your laptop. i had the same problem today, and I simply changed from 'power savings' to 'balanced' power profile and the connection is now stable. Maybe it has something to do with the frequency or power output of the wifi card.
hey thanks for the reply the really helped although the box does still disconnect maybe twice an hour now.
anyone have any other suggestions?

well keep the laptop nearer to the TV adapter (kind of defeats the purpose, but still). keep other devices like microwave, etc. off (though this has not affected me much).
