1-5-4-2 means power fault. Do you have both 2x4 12V CPU power connectors connected?
Yes .. i have a power supply tester (Thermaltake Dr. Power A2358) and the 2x4 12V CPU power connectors and the two connections are ok.
Is it a single or a redundant power suppy? I know there's a 1x5 connector on the motherboard that the BMC uses to monitor some of the power supply stuff.
The Quick Start User´s Guide say about this connection but say as an optional when used just Server Chassis SC5650. My Power Supply dont have this connection. Exist an adaptator for this?? What voltage ???

I don't know what you'd be adapting it to, but there are many power supplies that will work fine with two processors in the S5500BC. See

Hello, I have orig SC5650DP with 600W power supply. I solved it today. I try to run motherboard out of the chassis on table and it works, but after put it back get amber color. I unmount power supply and put in on table and insert only main power and cpu 12 power, it works. After I connect others connectors and last I mount back power supply. I dont understand it but it works...
I have same problem... My Motherboard S5500BC and 2 xeon E5606.
With one processor in socket 1, run well. With 2 prosesor (socket 1 and socket 2), it ca not run.
With one prosesor in socket 2, it can not start. My power supply is Enermax Platimax 850W...
