Pressing F2 during POST results in a boot loop as soon as the "entering setup" message appears.
Moving the configuration jumper to the "configuration" position (pins 2 and 3) results in a message to power off and move the jumper back to the normal position. I completed a successful BIOS update to 0045 using the express installer method. BIOS
Machine appears to be working fine, otherwise. I've tried both PS/2 and USB keyboards with same results. Any suggestions appreciated.
Very similar. I've isolated the cause as the presence of my ATI HD5850 video card in the PCI-e slot. Removing that, and connecting an HDMI display to the integrated graphics results in normal operation. Vexing, but not fatal.
Interesting. I ran into the problem on the DZ77BH-55K under BIOS 70 (see the earlier thread), and I've got an ATI HD7750. Never tried it without the video card, and I'm not going to disassemble my system to test that. But it would be useful if someone from Intel could confirm or deny this as a BIOS problem, and state whether whether the new BIOS has or will fix it.
I did some additional testing and have determined the problem is not with the ATI video card, but with the Apple 23 Inch CinemaHD display attached to it. Any of the other displays I have in the house work fine off the DVI output of the ATI card (as well as the HDMI output of the board's integrated graphics).
