THANK YOU!
I read every page on this thread and performed every recommend solution. This is the only one that worked for me and it took all of 1 minute to do!

Hi,
I recently upgraded to Windows 8 Customer Preview. Have a Dell Laptop XPS15.
However, though everything was smooth, MWT stoopped working.
It shows:
"Network Adapter Not Found"
I've tried to reinstall the driver from the CD I got alongwith the laptop. I also ran the Intel Driver Update Utility at "http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect?iid=dc_iduu" but to no avail.
Need help please.
Thanks in anticipation!
Thanks for the post!
At this time we do not have any drivers available for Windows 8. As this operating system is in its testing phase, we are likewise still testing drivers and software for our products. As soon as we have any drivers available that we can share and post, I am sure we will do so.
Thanks,
Paul

Hi everyone. Please Help. .. When I open the " Intel my wifi technology " its says....
No supported Intel wireless network adapter was found....
PLEASE HELP
@ABM @flor Did WiDi work correctly previously, or is this after installing the Intel WiDi software from the internet for the first time?

I’ve determined that the WiDi is just not ready for prime time. I’m going to either purchase a similar product elsewhere or wait until Intel perfects their WiDi technology. I travel a lot which is why I purchased the WiDi device. I use slingbox and wanted to connect to hotel TV’s and watch my DVR’s programming. Over the last 4 months since I purchased the WiDi I have only had it work well at 1 out of 9 locations.
I’ve tried everything suggested but still can’t get acceptable performance. Now I travel with a 25 ft HDMI cable
In my case it kept saying the HARDWARE was not installed.
The only thing that finally worked for me is to unplug the laptop, shut it down, remove the battery, press the "on" button to remove any remaining power how faint it is, then put the battery pack back in place and start.
And miracle ! everything was back to normal.
Cheers!

@skjain2 It's not working at all ...
please help, I've try reinstaling my windows 7 but... still .... having the same problem, please help :S
@flor Sorry to hear of your troubles. Did your laptop come pre-loaded with WiDi software? If so, has there ever been a time when it worked for you?

Hi! It may be as simple as checking Device Manager (Control Panel/System & Security/Device Manager) for the network adapter installed. Be sure and check your device manager to see which Network Adapter is shown. For instance, if you have an Atheros AR9285 WIRELESS Network Adapter, you will have a conflict with INTEL WIDI.
I have an Asus K5E i5 second generation and in my case, I purchased a 10 ft Ethernet cable to connect notebook to our primary tv (HDMI ports, but not a smart TV. That will also free me up to do more research will do until I research WIDI for a wireless solution.
Hi, I am Also Facing the Same problem since a week.
Mine is DELL XPS 15. WiFi used to work proper since last week and got this problem recently.
WiFi is enabled and al the connections are also in enable status. WiFi LED is glowing but i am not able to connect. When Following the process of disabling an enabling, got the error as " Intel My WiFi Technology: Adapter not found"
Need a solution for this urgently !!!!!
I had the same problem with my Samsung laptop and I looked for solutions but yours is the only one that worked. Thanks! ![]()
So please, at the end, what is the solution? I'm not using WiDi just hanging out with my internet wifi connection and usually when I make a voice or video call, ie Skype, it sounds a notification and shows "Intel my wifi technology: Adapter is not found" and my connection is lost... I saw that when I go to -change adapter settings- in Network and Sharing Center and disable and then reenable the wifi adapter, the connection is back, but I don't want to do it for ever, already reinstalled W7 and the problem is still here. Thanks!
