Can you private message me your service ticket number so that I can go and blast my idiotic technicial support representative who said I am the ONLY person in the world who own DH77EB motherboard having such a UEFI issue. At least your engineer admit to such a issue compare to mine who live in a complete denial. Which country 's hotline did you dial ? My one is the horrendouse service from Philipinese.
Maybe nobody else in your country called them and complained about the same issue? Probably they don't see if someone has called support in Europe/USA and complained about the issue. There is no need to angry. Be patient and wait for a bios update and if that will not solve your issues then you can try to ask to get money back. Give them 1-2 months to solve UEFI issue.
I'm in china. The person who call back to me and tell me the results of test is in beijing. At first they don't care about this problem just like that persons you called. I tell them and suggest them to test. They test with the 0053 bios version and tell me all is ok. I tell them to test 0071, they said they will test and report this problem.

Write in English only. Thanks! No need to be mad and call Intel tech support idiots. If you are not happy with your motherboard then return it or wait for bios fix.
My tech supporter call me and tell me they have tested and found the problem. They have already report this problem, and ask me to wait for a newer bios. They said this will take some time to fix.
Today my tech supporter call me again, he told me his leader said that the new bios which will fix this bug is under development.
Now i think we just need to wait the bios.
Thank you for the update liwangli. Looks like the secret to getting problems fixed is to go through Intel's Chinese support ![]()
My tech supporter call me and said that in this weekend a newer bios which will fix this bug named 0075 may be released.
I hope this bios can fix the problem of real fan always in full speed.
The latest 0075 bios is uploaded and sadly it cannot resolve the UEFI issue. Really disappointed with this. I had tested it personally. It takes me only 10 mins to test. May be I should become the Quality Control and Tester officer for Intel. Whoever tested and approve this bios should be hang seriously.
I'm testing. It can add uefi boot entry now, but just like 0053, it can't select boot order in bios config menu. It seems just rename 0053 to 0075, execpt fix the fan full speed bug.
Do you see the date of this bios is 5.21? Today is 6.22, i think they has not fix this bug correct.
Can you boot up your UEFI harddisk with the 0075 bios ? I confirmed cannot boot up. You had any MSN I can add you in and we can chat.
Yes I also fire at the Intel representive how come the Bios date mentioned 21 May but when I highlight to them on 29 May they completely deny this issue exist. Also I asked them how come the bios is dated 21 May ???????
By now if Intel don't sack and fire whoever release this 0075 bios I really had nothing to say.
After flashing the newest 0075, I installed win7 x64 in UEFI mode with intel G2 80 SSD, and it successed while 0071 always failed at the second boot.
I suggest you change another SSD, because I do not think intel will specially test UEFI issus with OCZ SSD.
I install win7 x64 and it success add "windows boot manager" to the list of boot entry. That's ok.
But in the bios conifg menu, i can't see the new entry but only a "[]", and also can't select the boot oreder.
And i install fedroa17 x64(a linux system has the uefi), the "Fedroa" boot entry was suceessfully added and exits if i don't plug off the usb disk. But if i disconnected the usb disk, the "Fedora" entry disappered, and "windows boot manager" also exits.
It seems like the new bios's uefi boot only work with win7 correctly, for other system, this also some problem.
