I am having an issue updating IRST to the latest version. This version includes smart response, and since I'm getting an ssd really soon, I need it. Everytime the installer reaches the point where it tries to install the Intel Desktop/Workstation/Server Express Chipset SATA AHCI Controller, it pops up with an error saying "The setup program failed to install one or more device drivers. Setup will exit" and closes down. It seems I have this driver already installed. Uninstalling and reinstalling IRST does not seem to help. I only have one WD 1TB Green Drive hard drive in AHCI mode and a ASUS P8Z68-V Pro/Gen 3 with an Intel i5-2500k.
