There is the possibiity that one of your DIMMs is bad. I would suggest that you test the various combinations of two DIMMs and see if you can isolate a bad one. Let us know what you find...

I have same motherboard and Corsair 16GB (4x4096MB) CL9 1600Mhz VENGEANCE LP (CML16GX3M4A1600C9). Running at XMP-1600. That ram should work so maybe your motherboard is faulty?

Its possible you have a defective board.  I have a WD 1TB drive on my Marvell SATA and it works fine, as do all my USB ports and I'm maxed out on them.

I have the same memory kit 4x8GB corsair as you i7-3770K but a DZ77BH-55K mainboard. I can also not get them to work at xmp-1600 on my board. Not even 2 dimms (one per channel) work. I sometimes have it working with one dimm in single channel. 4x8GB@DDR3-1333 works fine.

However i did get more speed by increasing the bus clk from 100 to 105 as a test, then the system does run and work at 1400. I placed 2x4gb whitelabel dimms in my system that are 1600mhz capable without xmp profile and the system work without issues.

I believe that there is something wrong with the mainboard bios and not the dimms. Somehow the xmp profile is not properly loaded or something like that. I tried setting the timing manually and fiddled around with that for quite a while but nothing seems to work. I can try to see if my kit works in a ddr3-1600mhz capable machine at work to test the dimms in another setup but I suspect the same results as you, i suspect it will work in that machine.

these are mine. notice the dimms reporting 1333 as their max bandwidth. maybe the mainboard is not at fault after all. I'm also bugging corsair support about this. I bought 1600mhz dimms that should do that natively/guaranteed, not 1333 that can maybe be overclocked to 1600

For me bios 0045 solved all my issues. So my experience with Intel is now good and i might consider buying a Intel board in the future also. Intel support is getting better.
