After 0035 BIOS update, my motherboard does not boot any more.
The is just # 20 at the status code on board, and the 6th green (named F),
is just bliking fast.
My screen stays in sleep mode. No any BIOS response.
The only thing that were fixing that for a while, was to take out the CMOS
battery, take out the BIOS jumper, take out the RAN memories from motherboard
for 40 min. to 1 hour (not less), then recover 0035 ver. using a USB thomb drive.
A day after, when entering BIOS to change my fan speeds that were reset in this event,
it's all happened all over again!!!
I'm going creazy! This is my business work!
I never head one issue with any of my past motherbords BIOS update for 20 years!
Intel, what have you done here?
Do I need to through away this board?
Hello Namrur,
The issue that you are experiencing is being investigated, we have some reports of these issues and we are working on finding a solution.
Please keep an eye for further BIOS releases.
Regards.

I had the same situation with my DH77DF after update 0095 BIOS. I tried a USB thumb BIOS recovery, but did not fix the problem yet. Now I am trying take off the battery and release CMOS.
Did you find a solution for the DH77DF problem? My update to 0095 didn't even run (just rebootet after the windows installer said it would reboot the pc to install the bios) and the board doesn't work after that anymore. I cannot even try the recovery option since the screen stays in standby mode. ![]()
I'm having the EXACT same problem. Except, I can't even recover it after removing CMOS battery, memory, jumper. Monitor stays in standby mode. I can do absolutely nothing. I'm sitting here with a huge, expensive paper weight.
I "fixed" my DH77DF by getting a new one from my retailer. The advise from the intel support was: don't use the windows bios upgrade tool, use the F7 method.
Good advice Thedoc!! Updating via windows is waaayyyy to risky, I don't know why any m/b manufacturer offers this method. Use bios utility or pure dos only.
