I have an Intel SSDSA2M080G2GC hard drive I installed on my Win7 PC. I downloaded Intel SSD Toolbox version 2.01 and installed it. I use the SSD for operating system only and installed the Toolbox on a partition on my regular hard drive, if that makes any difference. Anyway, the toolbox launches and the SSD shows at the top of the list and my other hard drive with it's various partitions listed below it. The problem is that I can't select it, and the buttons below the drive window are Intel SSD's only, View Drive Information, Check Smart Attributes, and then 2 more buttons that both say Intel SSD's only. When I try to select the drive to enable using any buttons, it just refreshes and de-selects itself, so I can't use any features of the program. I have un-installed, re-downloaded and re-installed a couple of time and still get the same, "not able to select" problem. The program has some excellent features I would like to use providing I can get it to work. Any Ideas?
I am having the same issue. The tool box wont allow me to select my Intel SSD drive. It just refreshes, but nothing else. Please help. Tried 2.0.1 and 2.0.2.
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Tried compatablity mode with each setting. No luck.
Hi,
I'm having the same issue when running Toolbox version 2.02.000 on Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium.
When trying to select my Intel 320 80GB 2.5" SATA SSD the drives just keep refreshing making it impossible to select the drive for testing. Checked the drives firmware & it's up-to-date.
Does anyone have any suggestions that can help me please?
Regards,
LukeF
Well I was having the same problem as well and come to find out it's an issue with the 7xx Nforce boards. I was able to get around this and got the SSD Toolbox working. See below:
right click My Computer>
click on Manage>
right click NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA Controller >
select Browse my computer for driver software >
select Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer >
select Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller >
restart you PC and the toolbox should work

*****I'm not sure if you all are using an Nforce board or not, but this is one of the top searches that comes up in google. So, hopefully it saves someone out there a little time should then have the same problem.
I have the same problem on Win 7 x64 with an nForce 5 chipset and the newest NVidia drivers. Changing to the MS standard drivers as bdube suggested works but this cannot be the final solution. It's just a work around.
I hope there will be nForce support by the Intel SSD Toolbox soon.
I have a problem with the optimizer to. I have a brand new acer aspire with a 320 series ssd and the optimizer says:
Error: RAID array detected. If RAID array not present, reboot and try again
I have rebooted wiped it clean and installed toolbox again and it does the same thing.
oh it also says system drivers are not supported for this setting and current storage driver does not support dpim settings
I also have this issue. Problem is it was working just fine even with the Intel v7.0.0.1013 drivers for their "Intel(R) ICH10 Family 6 Port SATA AHCI Controller - 3A22".
Well don't bother downloading the latest version......it is screwed up also..............HOW old is this thread?.......lol.........z
xxxx
Maybe it's a driver issue.....I got an ASRock MOBO
