I purchased a 20-pin motherboard extension cable from Cablesonline.com (item #280801382782). I bought mine off their ebay store for $14.00 because it was cheaper than at there on line store.
I have same board. Also bought an extension cable. Have not tested the extension cable yet to see if it works.
Shame that intel puts the USB 3 headers on bottom of motherboard and sends a short cable. When i pay so much for a motherboard that cant even boot Windows using UEFI boot mode, i am atleast expecting the accessories to be good. But i am forced to spend more cash and buy an extension cable. I understand why there is so little people buying Intel motherboards. I wish Intel will get better in the future because they have great motherboards.
