Adgriffi's post was the solution for me, specifically (http://forums.extremeoverclocking.com/showpost.php?p=3329132).  I did an ASUS BIOS update afterwich 2/3 RAID5 drives were listed as Non-Member disks. 

1. Went into the Intel RAID configuration during boot (CTRL+I) and noted the array name and stripe size. 
2. Converted the remaining Member disk to Non-member, despite the data loss warnings. 
3. Recreated the RAID5 array with the same name and stripe size as I noted earlier. 
4. Booted into Windows (my boot SSD was not part of the failed array). 
5. Downloaded and installed http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk which found my missing partition. 
6. After restoring the partition I rebooted, everything was back to normal and all my data was there once again. 
7. I then cried tears of joy and donated to the TestDisk author.

I hope this helps another man cry tears of data restoration pleasure.
