Intermittently PCIe bus devices (tuner cards) are 'going away' from the media center application and missing from Device Manager. Device Manager 'scan for hardware changes' does not find the tuner again but a reboot brings it back. Win7x64, Gigabyte Sniper M3, Hauppauge HVR-2200 x2, i5-3570K.
The hardware, OS and config have been rock solid for a couple of years. The problem started after upgrading the motherboard. Have tried moving the tuners into different slots but the symtoms continue. Intergrated graphics - no PCIe graphics card. Latest BIOS, chipset and all-other-drivers are installed. There are no corresponding events in the logs.
Advice on any known issue in this area or with troubleshooting gratefully received. Opened a ticket with Gigabyte - no response yet.
