In order to check on this issue, could you please provide more information on the systems being used?
Please specify the operating system that is being used in each system. Also specify the model of the SATA controller, the type of RAID used or the SATA mode that the controller is set to.
Also, include the model of the motherboards were this works and where it does not, and include the version of the Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology Control I option ROM that is installed on each respective system (the option rom is the interface that loads before the operating system boots).
Keep in mind that some older controllers like the Intel(R) 4 series chipset controllers do not support email notifications and that you need to have administrative priviligies in your system to view this option too.
