Hello,
my new DH77EB doesn't detect the KNC TV-Station DVB-S2 Twin Card x1 in any PCIe slot. In the bios "Configuration", "PCI/PCIe Add-In Slot" give that the slot is "Not populated". I checked the card in another system (with DH67GD) to be sure that the card is not broken. In that system the card is working fine. The card is working without any problems. A other PCIe card (a USB 3.0 controller) will detected without a problem.
second problem: the HD4000 locked at 24.000 hz when i select 23.976 hz.
What I have done to try to solve the problem:
Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
Any help is appreciated!
Hello mikevd,
I understand that you are having problems utilizing a KNC* TV-Station card.
I recommend you to confirm with the manufacturer of the card the compatibility with the newer 7 series chipset motherboards as not all motherboards will be compatible with the newer technologies and may require a firmware update.
Regards.

any solution for the 23.976 hz problem?
Hello,
i have exactly the same behaviour with my DQ77KB (newest Bios 0040)
PCIe X1 Tevii DVB-S2 Tuner S471 is not regognized
BIOS -> PCIe not populated
Card is new and works well on an DH67BL!
My Leadtek PCIe TV tuner is also not working.
All,
Unfortunately I have run into same issue with my new HTPC system.
The new motheboard DH77EB (bios ver. 0089) does not recognise my tv tunner PCTV Dual Hybrid Pro PCIe 3010iX. Please note that the card has been tested in two other systems (socket 775 mob) with success.
I am now spreading the word to all my mates to avoid these new Intel motherboards.
There are tons of other people with this issue and I had told Intel since 1st of June and even the latest bios cannot fix the PCIe issue.
What's the process of logging a support call with Intel?
I'm based in Australia and am not keen on spending $$ on pointless conversation with inexperienced junior staff.
Is there a way of contacting /complainting via email?
Cheers,
PS. Are you aware of any TV tuners that are supported and working with DH77EB?

Allegedly Hauppauge HVR-2200 Hybrid Dual is compatible with this sh* motherboard.
I had try to consolidate a list of threads for people with PCIe TV tuner card issue below :
http://communities.intel.com/thread/29824
There is no way to get PCIe TV card to work unless you try each and every brand (almost 90% of various TV card brand all cannot work on this sh-t board).
a) Intel only communicate via phone so you have to call in to log a complain. No need to ask them to look at this forum because they will just say they will not provide official support here and will ignore everything that is posted here.
b) They will ask you to contact your TV manufacturer for a solution (aka pushing away all the blame to others)
c) They will advice you to buy a TV tune card manufactured after the date Intel DH77EB is being released. (get real how sure can they gurantee a TV card bought after that date will 100% work)
d) They will ask you to ship your TV tuner card to them for testing. (I seriously doubt they will solve any problem)
e) They will point you to a website whereby they tested a list of hardware. They will say any hardware not tested in the link below they will not gurantee it will work ( Yeah right as though those are the only PC hardware exist in the entire earth)
Intel Desktop Board DH77EB — Tested peripherals
You try to think of something to counter each and every of the above things those idiotic call center people will say before calling them. You may ask why I knew so much it is because I had 1st hand encounter with their sh-t reply.
Same Problem here with the TechnoTrend TT-connect S2-4100.
Intel Live Chat say i should call my local Support Center, maybe there they can find a Solution.
The only thing to try was an older BIOS, but i don't think that helps.
This Card should work with this Board - Digital Devices V6 - but thats no Option for me,
this is a Dual Tuner which costs 160 eur, 3 times more than an SingleTuner like TT 4100.
Anyone tried the new 93 BIOS?
Intel just released a 96 BIOS with the Fix for TV Cards.
So Intel, whats the Solution for the 24p Bug?
Still no answer to the 23Hz Problem from Intel?! ![]()
