SR2612UR SAS drives don't spin up

Hello,

I'm ripping my hair out i have a SR2612UR server system and i've checked everything i can think of.

When i switch the server on after going through post successfully it seems as though the 12 SAS drives that I have installed in my system don't spin up and so the RAID card doesn't see the drives to RAID them.

Is there any suggestions.

Which RAID card are you using? How did you connect the RAID card to the backplane?

I am using an Adaptec 5805 Raid Card and I connected it to the backplane Using a SFF-8087 to SFF-8087

I suggest you pick a RAID controller from the THOL.

I have 5 other servers deployed with the exact same spec and build.
This is the only one that is giving me problems. The other servers are about 6 months old.
