BIOS version 0151 includes support for future 22nm processors. Due to structural changes in this BIOS version, once a board has been converted to this version or later, it will no longer be possible to downgrade the BIOS to version 0132 or earlier. Attempting a BIOS downgrade to a previous version may fail – the board BIOS will remain at its current version.
It could be that you didn't follow the directions as the update 0151 is for specific AA numbers or above. Applying the update to older AA numbers could toast the BIOS. I have an early DH67BL and it's not compatible with the update. But who cares? I wouldn't make the upgrade to a new processor for 100Mhz any way.
I share your pain with bricked boards. I had two DH67CF bricked by an update in late summer/early fall (pre 0132, if I remember right).
I upgraded both of my systems with DH67CF board to 0151 without problems. Went from 0125 to 0151 using EB update (Windows EXE).
In addition, I upgraded the following other systems:
DH67GD: Used EB upate to go from 0132 to 0151.
DH67BL: Two different systems both from 0132 to 0151. Both failed update using EB update, but F7 update with .BIO file worked just fine.
All systems are operating nicely.
