Hi all
1. Does Intel Multi-Server Manager work on Windows Server 2008 R2 OS? (sp1 EE)
2. I have installed it already (SR1600UR server) and software cannot detect any agent\BMC ... For expl local host always in in "connecting" state (pic1)
3. Trying autodiscovery but it does nothing! (pic2)
Yes it does support Windows Server 2008 R2. Did you add TCP port 7777 and 9393 to your firewall exception list?
Hi
I have disabled firewall on this server already ... (off state)
Hello,
Can you please check if the two services IASCServiceManager & AppCore are in a started/running state ? You can also execute a batch file named IASCservice.bat located on the installed directory path of MSM.
Can you also please do a restart of the server to reset the BMC to see if this helps ?
I also assume that there is an ethernet cable attached to the network port so that it can discover other BMC based servers in your network.
thanks,
jason
Hi
1. services IASCServiceManager & AppCore - started
2. i restarted server several times and tried to reinstall Multi-Server Manager too - don't help me
3. all network cables attached (i can ping BCM for expl)
4. firewall is disabled
Nothing help me....
Hello,
exactely same problem, have you find the solution ?
Thank you
I have gone through the same troubleshooting steps.
(I have done the following steps on the MSM server, and the servers running the agent.)
- Disable firewall
- Install and restart
- uninstall and restart
- reinstall and restart
The MSM web interface seems to be working fine, and I can access the localhost, but I am unable to discover any servers running the agent.
