How do I set DDR3 1333MHz memory modules in the setup of an Intel DX58SO ?
I have installed on an Intel DX58SO 3 KVR1333D3N9/2G model memory modules 2GB 1333MHz DDR3 Non -ECC CL9 DIMM 6GB total...
But these modules are shown in the setup of the Intel DX58SO as DDR-1081...

How to fix this problem?

You will have no choice but to overclock to run your memory at its faster speed.
In my opinion, there's not even a noticeable difference between 1333MHz and 1060MHz memory at all. I wouldn't worry about it, if I was you.
If you are determined to see at least 1333MHz for memory, you'll have to overclock.

The problem I see when I will still go from 6GB ( 3 2GB 1333MHz modules ) to 12GB ( 3 4GB 1600MHz modules ) ...
That is, I will always have a big problem on their hands !

The memory controller in the I7-920 will only support 1066Mhz memory. It's the controller in the CPU not your Board or the RAM.

I would buy 4 modules 4GB 1600MHz model Ripjaws G. Skill F3- Black -X - 12800CL6D 4GBXH , but with this limitation , I will withdraw from the purchase and to purchase other hardware components that actually support memory module 4GB 1600MHz.

However, I am happily running 1600MHz RAM with no issue.
If you want to run memory at a faster speed, you have to overclock.
In fact, I just wanted my 1333 modules were not underutilized because instead of the actual frequency, they are working as if they were 1081MHz, about 18.9 % lower!

There's a lot of very useful information on the link you provided.
The post on 25-04-2010 por Jonny.br is dead-on correct. Your DX58SO motherboard includes a memory multiplier that you could change to get a speed close to 1333MHz. You won't even need to change the host clock at all.
If your system fails post after making this change (which is possible with Intel motherboards), just reset it back to the defaults.

Hi, Milasi.
I would not have made that many changes to your BIOS configuration at once. When you encounter issues as you have now, it's difficult to know which change caused the problem.
Here's what I would do:
1) Reset BIOS to default settings
2) Save the settings then restart. This will tell you if the motherboard boots up okay with your power supply change.
Assuming your computer boots up Windows:
3) Go back into the BIOS setup and change only the memory multipler so that the speed of the memory is near 1333MHz. You should not have to change anything else.
4) Exit the BIOS setup saving your changes. See if your computer boots up Windows. If it happens to fail POST, you must either make additional changes or just reset to defaults and let it remain that way.

At the time I created (25-04-2010 , 8:20) the topic with this question at the Forum http://www.hardware.com.br/comunidade/configurar-intel/1061618/#post4916786 , I follow the same tips that you just post here.
I think my main problem with the monitor LED is lit for a few seconds when I make the necessary changes in the setup of the Intel DX58SO , it's because my memory modules are Markvision of that here in Brazil , we consider this brand as generic or low cost as you want.
Even so , do the changes and then put the results here.

I contacted the Jonny.br, Forum hardware.com.br friend of mine and he showed me the memory modules Geil Black Dragon 12GB Kit ( 3x4GB ) 1600Mhz GB312GB1600C9TC, the purchase will close next week and once you arrive, I install them n my Intel DX58SO and then post the results !
