Hello.
I have motherboard DH61AG and I wanted connect it to TFT-matrix, but I don't know manufacturer LVDS-connector on the motherboard, what to find an appropriate connector for connection to the motherboard. Please, tell my manufacturer and type LVDS-connector on the motherboard DH61AG.
Hi,
Regarding the manufacturer of the onboard LVDS connector on the Intel(R) Desktop Board DH61AG, I'd recommend locating an Intel Authorized Distributor so that they can, in turn, escalate your inquiry to a Sales Rep.; this is because the information is considered "Intel classified information" and access may be granted only to those who have a business need. A list of our distributors can be found at the following web site:
http://www.intel.com/cd/channel/reseller/asmo-na/eng/227304.htm
As for "type LVDS-connector", I confirm that's a 40-Pin one; you could refer to page 27 of the Technical Product Specification for more details on it:

Hello.
You could refer to page 13 of the system design guide.

Good morning,
my English is not very good, but I try.
I also have this motherboard. It is almost impossible for this one
To get cable, even the company ES & S in Germany, the
produce almost only LVDS cable, can not help.
I do not understand why you can not go to plug known as
e.g. Hirose DF13 or the like. Someone here has an idea?
best regards
Waschle
hello,
I have the same board and same problem.
Finally I found connector manufacturer and ordered.
Please find details below.
Mainboard : Intel DH61AG
Connector type : 40-pin LVDS
Model : ACES 88441-40
Manufacturer web site : http://www.acesconn.com/
Contact person : Lydia Sha
e-mail : lydia_sha@acesconn.com
What did you actually get from ACES? In the manual for the DH61AG they list the 88441-40 as just the mating connector, did you get just the mating connector or were they able to supply you with a kit or something to build your LVDS cable?
I really don't understand why Intel makes this so difficult. So many other companies use JAE or Hirose (or at least compatible) LVDS connectors which you can easily find connectors, kits, or cables for. ACES doesn't even list the 88441-40 on their web site and I couldn't even find Starcom on the internet. Why not just list contact names at these companies to help customers actually use what they've designed into the motherboard?
I see quite the same way.
But it gets even better:
We have made several inquiries to Intel, with respect to the LVDS connector on this board.
An employee of Intel, who calls himself Ataolur has written me the following email to this problem:
"LVDS connector on Desktop Board DH61AG
Reply from Ataolur in Desktop Boards - View full thread "
He has referred to the thread in this forum. This must be thought of times. It's like when you ask the manufacturer for his car, for what a particular button, and you get the response:
"I have to look even on the Internet, write what the people who have such a car."
I also have the testimony of another Intel employee that
This LVDS port is only for very large OEM manufacturers, and the assignment is strictly confidential. (The assignment is in the manual!) And if you look in the bios, I also find no settings for the interface.
But that does not help. ACES I have the information that this grade is reserved for OEM, also is here to coax cable, which can be soldered only under a microscope.
I'll switch to a different motherboard, nothing else works.
Best regards Waschle
Hi,
I also try to use DH61AG motherboard with flat panel display LG LP101WH1 (10,1" 1366x800 pixel), because nowhere in a proper/related place ( I look in Intel® Desktop Board DH61AG product guide and Intel® Desktop Board DH61AG technical product specification ) is written that this motherbard doesn't support lower size displays. I bought three cables for laptops ( 2x G558J - this two cables have 20pin connector for motherboard, I splice the connector to become one 40 pin and 1x C603T - this one have 40pin connector for FPD) and make my own. After one day playng, testing and wondering why doesn't work I found http://cache-www.intel.com/cd/00/00/47/97/479749_479749.pdf where is writen that motherboard support from 18,5" and large 16:9 displays!!!
And if you wondering were is the settings for LVDS you should look "NOTE" of page 28 in Intel® Desktop Board DH61AG technical product specification were is written "1. Internal flat panel display connectivity is disabled (and all parameters hidden) by default."
I spend a lot of money and time for useless cause !!!
CAN YOU PLEASE ADD SUPPORT FOR SMALL DISPLAYS IN NEXT BIOS REVISION???
Look at my post (should be near the bottom) here.
Nice idea! Would you be willing to share one of your PCBs?
Pls email me directly to alexst_66 [ dog ] hotmail.com to dicuss subj.
I would also be interested in purchasing one of these boards. Please contact me if you are willing.
Hello, our company could make these kinds of LVDS cable, which is mated with connector ACES 88341-40
If you need these, please contact me,
or visite our company website: http://www.micro-coaxial.com/ or http://lvdscable.diytrade.com/
I would love to order 5 or even 10 of these for a project I have, but I don't want 1000 ![]()
Do you have a reseller that has them in lower quantities?
I also looked through most of the pictures and did not find a matching cable to the above one.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
