Hello all,
I just tried to update my DH67CF(G10215-203) BIOS to the recently released 0131 version(BLH6710H.86A.0131) but bricked my board. The updating process seems to be fine, as at least I used to see the screen showing flashing modules with version 0131 showed upon. BUT then, after an automatically reboot, the case fan runs at full speed, nothing appear on the screen - in short, POST failed(or even not initialized), so I have to push power button for few seconds to shut the system down.
Then I tried these:
1. Clear settings, first by moving the jumper to the next pins, then by unplugging the battery on board(plus unplug the PSU). No help.
2. Then I noticed there're beeps by forced shutdown. Tested & results will be stated below.
3. Follow the BIOS recovering process found on Intel site(and also in this forum). Remove the jumper head, unplug all peripherals, copy BL0131P.BIO(yes, 0131 ver. at first I thought it would be something wrong when transferring binary, so re-downloaded & tried) to empty USB stick (I can only found at minimal 4GB ones, not someone said below 2GB, so I made a 502MB partition to use FAT16), power on and wait almost half an hour. Nothing happened.
4. Then I tried to recover to the version 0125, the latest one I sucessfully flashed. Still nothing.
5. Tried few times, with the recover jumper at pin 2-3(clear configure) as some posts here introduced, with different partition scheme and format. Seems no hope...
Some further investigations:
0. The failed flash process
I made my USB stick bootable to FreeDOS to have some DOS utilities run on raw machines. So I run IFLASH2.EXE instead of using F7 method. I think the failure may because of this, maybe FreeDOS' modern kernel? But IIRC FreeDOS stuffs don't alter BIOS int functions, and IFLASH2 should run fine.
1. On beeps
While forcing shutdown(pressed the power button), the board beeps seems in the manner of "memory error": beep - beep - beep, then the system shuts down. Even without repeat, I can identify because the last stop lasts longer than inter-beep stops(noticeable to me). So I removed 1 DIMM then 2 DIMMs(all for this board), but the system behaviours same. I think the board should beep without any DIMM, but not.
Another thing about beeps is, at sometimes, the beeps are like not initialed fast enough, so I can hear a long silent, then sequence beeps but not finished all 3 because the system is already powerred off.
2. On basic I/O
After the reboot of that failed flash process, the case fan rotates at full speed(according to its spec, no input or full high-level input on PWM pin). I've unplugged it, then I realized that CPU fan(from Intel) is not at full speed. Seems like improper functional of the SuperI/O chip?
Any suggestions on what should I do next?

Intel offered a RMA as I have "No Video after BIOS Update". I received the replacement on Okt. 15th

The same situation here with DH67CF(G10215-203) and seems at the same time.
I tried to update BIOS using F7 function key. (also v.0125 -> v.0131).
I did just all the same attempts and got the same result.
Tried to recover with usual CD-ROM, bootable and not USB with .BIO file and no jumper.
The same one beep at power on and three beeps at power off. Variated DIMMS.
So you are not alone ...
Added: i3-2105, no external video, no attempt to read USB drive at all. If swich power on
without any monitor connected, sometimes only 2 beeps during power off.
I have the same board and tried to update my Bios yesterday.
The result is the same: NOTHING!! The PC doesn't boot anymore. Not a single sign on the display. Not a beep , just when shutting down.

Same problem here. Looks like Intel has a bad thing going here.
I contacted Intel Support and they said to try:

After this period of time, insert the battery back in and turn the system back on; if it displays POST messages, go into BIOS Setup Utility by pressing <F2> during the boot process. Once in the BIOS setup utility, press <F9> to restore BIOS default settings. Reset any customized BIOS settings. Clear all DMI event logs, which are located in the Advanced/Event Log Configuration section of the BIOS Setup utility. Press <F10> to save the new settings and reboot the system.
So far, I still don't have any display on POST but I'm trying one more time.
Just have done it second time (for 40 minutes). Still have not anything. First time I waited 1 hour. All we read manuals. Seems have to stop the access to this version of bios for downloading.
Same here. Second time no joy. Contacted Intel for second time, they are sending me an email to gather information about the system. I have a feeling the board is hooped and will be going back on warranty return.
Intel: You should remove the 0131 download before you brick more boards!

Same here in the Netherlands, I bricked two boards going from BIOS 0125 to 0131.
Hope that Intel will come with a solution very soon.

Wow, came here just looking for some basics after I had same issue. OP, thanks for describing the issue well.
Definitely no POST upon power on, with monitors on either DVI, HDMI, or both. I get two beeps on forced shutdown (power button held down) with BIOS recovery jumper off.
Sounds like I'll be contacting Intel support.
Please write the method you used to update your BIOS. Maybe F7 function key doesn't work (my case) while Windows based is OK ("This method is the most commonly used.")

For the record, I used the Windows method also. Didn't come back up on reboot.
Looks like the BIOS has been pulled from the downloads section...
It is good that they have pulled the update. I "strongly suggested" they do that in my last email to Intel Support... I'm glad they listened.
of course it's right to take the download away, but I would expect a hint for us what we should do with our bricked boards.
