[DX58SO] Firmware 5456 + UEFI = NO USB Keyboard/Mouse

I had to upgrade the bios to version 5456 to resolve some SLI issue.

When I enable UEFI mode, my usb keyboard (wired & wireless) was not functional at all.

I noticed firmware 5200 suppose to resolve this kind of issue, but why 5456 has the same problem again?

In the end, I had to use recovery mode to reset my bios setting to get keyboard to work again.

Has anyone else experiencing the same problem as I do ?

Thanks for the feedback!

Just to be in sync., ave you tried clearing the event log and loading the BIOS default settings after updating to 5456 and before enabling UEFI mode?

Do your keyboard and mouse work fine, currently, with UEFI, after performing BIOS Recovery?

If that's the case, I'd then suggest clearing the CMOS as outlined here:
