People,
Is available a new Firmware to NEC/RENESAS USB3 Controller.
Firmware Version 3.0.2.8.0.8 (Windows 32 & 64bits)
Download: http://www.station-drivers.com/page/nec.htm
Step by step:

This new firmware fixed the problem with yellow exclamation (Cannot Start).
Finally!
Thanks
still not working after upgrade to latest firmware.
Was this ever fixed or not? I got a replacement for my DH67CF because intel put up a bad BIOS update which was unrecoverable. I installed the replacement board, and updated the BIOS to the latest working version. Then I saw the USB 3.0 device cannot start in device manager. I didn't know this problem until now. I had to disable USB Optimization in BIOS to make Renesas USB 3.0 work.
FYI: Here is a related post that has received a lot of activity, including an engineer from Intel named Chris: http://communities.intel.com/thread/27493
