I have a three year old HP Pavillion dv6000t CTO NB running with Vista that came with this 3945ABG network adapter. In device manager this network adapter shows a yellow symbol indicating that there is an issue with the adapter. I have updated to the latest driver and still the yellow symbol exists so sometimes it connects to the internet and sometimes it does not. Since my computer is three years old I cannot get technical support from HP. I think it is a simple answer. If after repeatedly disabling the adapter, updating the adapter and the yellow symbol still exists, is it time to just buy a new network adapter? And then if so, what kind? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
