Hi I have assembled my desktop pc with the following configuration
Mother board : Intel DH55TC
Processor : Intel core i5 760
RAM : 4 GB, kingston , DDR3 , PC1333
Hard disk : 1 TB sata
Monitor : Samsung 22 inch LCD, B2230
My issue is I am not getting any display, my monitor says "CHECK SIGNAL" whereas I have connected all things correctly. At one place I heard that intel core i5 doesnt have graphics, is that so?? then do I need to add graphics card?? but Mother board has graphics I think..?
Can anyone help me on this???
Thanks
With all of the quad-core i5-7xx series processors, you really do need a discrete graphics card. The only i5 processors that have integrated graphics are the dual-core i5-6xx series processors.
Thanks

Hi I have assembled my desktop pc with the following configuration Mother board : Intel DH55TCProcessor : Intel core i5 760RAM : 4 GB, kingston , DDR3 , PC1333 Hard disk : 500 GB sata Monitor : Samsung 22 inch LCD, B2230 My issue is I am not getting any display, my monitor says "CHECK SIGNAL" whereas I have connected all things correctly. At one place I heard that intel core i5 doesnt have graphics, is that so?? then do I need to add graphics card?? but Mother board has graphics. Please tell me that what i have to do...
Core i5 7xx Series does not include a graphics core. You do need a dedicated GPu in your case or a new processor as of Core i5 6xx Series (always Socket 1156).
Yes, You need a graphics card with the configuration you have mentioned. Core i5 760 does not have a graphics card built in. Even if you have graphics built-in the mobo, you will need graphics card to have display.
O I SEE.I.LL USE THIS PROCESSOR AND DH 55TC BOARD TOO.BUT I LL CONECTED IT TO GEFORCE GT 220 1 GB VGA CARD CEPERATLY .THEN I.LL DONT HAVE YOUR PROBLEM .BUT I SEE IN THE NET THIS PROCESSOR NEED VGA CEPERAT ,THEN IT CAN GIVE BEST GRAPHIC FETURS .THANK YOU.
