Please note that the Angry Birds app is not written or developed by Intel. The Angry Birds app is developed by Rovio (http://www.rovio.com/). Intel provides the Intel AppUp(SM) center for customers to download apps to run on their netbooks or PCs, and for developers to sell or distribute their apps such as Rovio does with Angry Birds. However, Intel does not have access to the software code for apps and cannot make changes to the app, fix problems with the app, or enhance the app. If the app is not running and you would like to troubleshoot an app issue, please contact the app developer. For Angry Birds, you can contact the Rovio support team by sending an email to support@rovio.com

I had the same problem but I have figured out the issue on my own. I am using WinXP and this is what I had to do:
Sorry, we just provide the software, check with the vendor is not an acceptable response for an app store. I could have gone to Rovio to download this in the first place. Your value added is convenience, and having my very first download not work on two seperate machines, with the response being not our problem, eliminates that. You don't have the advantage of a captive market like iOS, Windows Phone, Android. Nothing here to keep me interested, sorry. AppUp is gone

I'm having the same problem too. Opengl 2 is not supported in Angry Birds. This is how it goes:
My computer is running on Windows 7, 32-bit.
My display driver is Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family
1. Downloaded the latest version of Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator Driver and installed.
2. Problem Solved.
