Bought Angry Birds 5 days ago (15 jan), worked just fine for two days, but now I just get "The application was not authorized for use on this machine".
My order was automatically cancelled, and I have tried uninstalling and re-downloading (reinstalling) the application. It simply won't run anymore. I have also tried updating my profile with a "correct" first name (as 'P-O' was not correct according to Intel), but this didn't help either.
As "Angry Birds" is in "My Apps", I am not able to try with purchasing it again.

i am also getting the angrybirds.exe has stopped working. i have tried everything i have read to solve the issue with no positive result please help
I also get the Unknown Exception Happened error, I've tried all the "solutions" on this thread but can't get it to run still.
Emailed the dev too to ask for help.
Is there any other solution I could try?
I'm getting the following messages. Unknown exception happened. When I follow the instructions to fix that I then get the ADP message. When I follwo those instructions, I get the Unknown Exception Happened message. It's a damn loop of error messages....
Sorry to say, but the version on TPB works just fine.. all the time.
No need for the Intel AppUp center software..
That's if you want to run a pirated - VIRUS INFECTED version of Angry Birds. I'll wait for an official answer from Intel and Rovio.... not ILLEGAL software for me, THANKS!
Hello,
I am not sure what all you have tried already so please try the following:
1. Temporarily disable virus protection and firewall and try to run the Intel AppUp(TM) client again
2. If it still fails, please run the Intel® System Identification Utility. The instructions are located here: http://www.intel.com/support/idyp.htm
3. Provide us the Intel® System Identification Utility Reference Number so we can look at the system configuration to confirm it meets the minimum requirements. Contact us here: http://www.intel.com/partner/support/appup/index.htm
4. Optionally you can try installing Intel AppUp(TM) client on a second system to see if you get the same results or if it works.

Uninstalled Antivirus, uninstalled IntelAppUp, Uninstalled AngryBirds. Reinstall Appup, and Angry Birds only, and get the same error mesages.
Tried to run the Intel system ID utility, and everytime I get a BSOD 0x0000001e.
Here are the system specs:
Gigabyte GA-MA69G-S2H AM2+ mobo
AMD AM2 5000+ Black Edition CPU
2GB ADATA PC2-800 RAM
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4650 512MB video card
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Angry birds runs on my pentium 4 computer - but so slow it is worse than nothing. There is no way to play it - just moving across the screen takes a couple minutes. ???????
I have the kaspersky anti-virus. I kept getting the ADP runtime failed to initialize, I have tried everthing I have read. I truned off the anti-virus, although I don't feel comfortable leaving it off. So I tried this out and it seemed to work:
Its the same as the one to open the Appup Center. So far I opened the app while the center is open a few times. It seems to work so far and my anti-virus is still on.
Does ANYONE know the system requirements? I can'
t beleive the app center doesn't list them. In the post on this forum it says make sure your system meets minimum requirements but doesn't say what they are- the only link is to the contact support- which says to check back later.
This app center is a joke. Breaks all the time- random errors. No listing for requirements of what you are buying. Then the support doesn't even work. They should just give it up.
Hello,
The system requirements are listed in the FAQs and provided below for your convenience. Please see http://communities.intel.com/docs/DOC-4664
A.The Intel AppUp(SM) center and the applications available in the store catalog are generally intended for use on netbooks using Intel® Atom™ based processors with 10" screens and default resolutions of 1024x600. The Intel AppUp(SM) center does not prevent installation or execution based on the CPU type, model, manufacturer and / or speed although systems must meet minimum requirements for the supported Internet browser.
Q. What operating systems are officially supported by the Intel AppUp(SM) center Software?
A. The Intel AppUp client officially supports the following operating systems:
At this time only English versions of operating systems are supported. In addition, some applications purchased through the store may need to be run in 32-bit compatibility mode if used on Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit systems.

I was able to get this to work...besides adding the Intel AppUp programs to Kaspersky's "trusted programs" section, I also had to add the AngryBirds.exe as well. Once I did that everything runs perfectly...
I won't be trying too many other apps however...having to add them as "trusted programs" to my antivirus doesn't sit well with me.
I had Kaspersky installed...had the error, I solved it by doing the following...
Go to Settings
On the bottom where there is Threats and Exclusions
Under Exclusions click settings
click over to the trusted app flap
click add, then browse
click on the program File/ Rovio/ angry bird app
click all 4 boxes
click save, open app up
run the game from there... hope this helps
