I connected the SSD to the port Marvell, the result - Power-On Hours Count began to count the hours! 2:00 added... This great. I will try to connect back to the Intel SATA and delete the Intel RST.

I uninstall the Intel ® Rapid Storage Technology Driver 10.1.0.1008 and now everything works well. Hours are counted ... As I understand it, the problem between the Intel ® P67 Express Chipset - Intel ® RST - Intel ® SSD. Cause of the problem is found, will wait for a new driver RST. I read that it should soon be released. Thank you all for help in my problem! ![]()
Good to hear... odd that only that specific SMART value was affected and not being read.
Yes. This is strange. Today on the Russian forum overclockers.ru another guy had the same bug. Uninstall the driver Intel RST fix it.
Hi!
Also, after a firmware update my SSD the line 09 "Power-On Hours Count" in SMART don't work. Has stopped on value 16 and doesn't change. All other lines work. Why the such has occurred? My computer:
Notebook Packard Bell EasyNote LJ75-JO-101RU
Intel Core i5 430m
Intel SSDSA2MJ080G2C1
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium x64
Thanks in advance for your help!
PS poor understanding of English
The issue seems to be with the SATA drivers. If you require this SMART field, uninstalling your Intel RST driver seems to resolve the issue and displays the updated Power-On Hours Count value.
I have found in my laptop "Intel ® Rapid Storage"is only a "Intel ® Matrix Storage Console".
It's the same thing?
Yes, they are the same thing. The Intel Matrix Storage was renamed to Intel Rapid Storage: http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/imsm/sb/cs-020649.htm
Thank you for your help!
after removing the "Intel Matrix Storage", SMART began counting the hours.
