I am guessing that this wouldn't make any difference in a single-disk setup. It probably means, when the disk queue is full, to give priority to a specific disk and service its I/O requests ahead of any others. Not sure if this is a simple boolean 0/1 setting or if it accepts a range of numbers, perhaps the higher the number the higher the priority, or vice-versa. Who knows, in any case maybe someone who knows for sure can comment?
It sure has been awhile -- still nobody has the answer to this one? Anyone from Intel who can shed a little light?
