After purchasing Angry Birds I uninstalled it and canceled my order. Now how do I remove my credit card information from my profile?

The whole store is a failure. I can't let my kids play with the games because they might go on a
shopping spree by mistake as there is NOTHING to prevent it in the options.
I don't know what geniuoses work at Intel but I'm not inpressed...

After launching Intel AppUp(TM) users must enter their password before an app purchase can be made. So long as your kids don't have access to the password they won't be able to purchase/download any applications. If you have purchased an application in your session you can prevent unintended purchases by logging out of your account. To log out simply close AppUp. Upon re-launching AppUp a password will be required to make another purchase.

I don't like the idea, that somebody can make purchases without my credit card information.
If my AppUp password somehow leaks(either by you, or me, or anything between us), I'm screwed. :/
If you copy Steam, at least do it right, you can chose there to don't save your payment information, and you can remove previously saved payment informations.
I hope you won't lose your PCI merchant account by your high chargeback rates...

We take security very seriously and have processes in place to reduce the possibility for fraudulent activity. We have conducted usability studies to identify how many security features users will tolerate before it becomes too inconvenient for them to use. We can investigate the purchasing/payment features functions you mentioned to see if it is something we can incorporate into our system.

I find it astounding that in this day and age a company the size of Intel does not think that the credit card holder should have an option to allow them to remove their credit card information off a server out on the Internet. Perhaps the possibility of impulse sales is more important than that of end user comfort.
In order to be able to use applications purchased and installed on one's computer is it necessary to have an AppUp account with payment information or can that account be cancelled without affecting already purchased applications?
Also why is there way of indicating in the community software who are the official representatives of Intel? A signature line is certainly not a fool proof means of identification and can be readily spoofed. All the avatars look the same with no means of differentiating who is an end user and who is an Intel employee?
