Well, He came to the right place so I am not so sure about the "too dumb"
Looks like this chassis only has 3 front pannel wire sets
H.D.D. LED (connects to pins 7 & 9)
POWER SW (connects to pins 11 & 13)
RESET SW (connects to pins 15 & 17)
Mate you are a champion - and I'm not saying that because you have a head like a sparkplug.
I really appreciate your help - It's my first server build and I was just about to give up.
My faith has been restored.

the Dokumentation about the Front Panel for the S3420GP is icky.
It is only usable for Intel Cassis not for others. There is no draft.
