Hi,
we're using an Intel D510MO with a SD to SATA Adapter and an 8 GB SDHC card. There were no problems installing Linux on the SD card. The Adapter is identified by the bios and I can boot the installed Linux with a few other PCs. The D510MO board tells me, that there are "no bootable devices".
What I've done so far:
* changed a few bios settings
* updated the BIOS to the newest available (MOPNV10J.86A.0311)
* tested the SD Adapter on a few other PCs. No problems with the adapter.
