I have installed a x25-v to my Dell Optiplex 755 as my boot drive. Installed a fresh copy of Win 7 home premium.
After the install whenever it goes to sleep it doesn't wake. Any suggestions why it happens? If you dont know please point me in the right direction.
Thanks
A SSD has no bearing on waking from Sleep. Did you have this issue before using this OS on a HDD?
Are all your device and chipset drivers up-to-date? Is S3 mode enabled in the BIOS?
I never had the issue before installing the ssd.
Is there an easy way to check if all my drivers are up to date?
What is an s3 mode?
S3 = Suspend to RAM = Sleep
S4 = Suspend to Disk = Hibernation
When you reinstalled the OS, where did you get the drivers? From a old disk or did you redownload the latest from Dell's site?
