Hi, AFAIK there os no specific issue regarding this on nthese boards. Can you tell from where on teh motherboard the noise is coming?
If youi are sure it is teh motherboard i would suggest as it is nesw to take it back and get it replaced.

The sound is coming from around the CPU area, but if I momentarily stop the fan the sound does not stop. I tried physically removing everything from the system and rebuilding it which did not work.
I am just going to exchange the motherboard.

USB devices seem to trigger a sound that emanates from the CPU area. In this video pressing a button on a USB keyboard triggers a buzzing noise, however a similar thing occurs with a mouse where scrolling causes a scratching/HDD seeking sound.
Any ideas?
