I have a HP EliteBook 8530w Mobile Workstation which has an Intel 82567LM ICH9M Gigabit NIC.
I am installing Windows Server 2008 Enterprise 64-bit.
Using either the HP driver or the generic Intel driver achieves the same results.
It does not detect the card. "No Intel network cards installed."
Device Manager shows the Intel Network Controller with no driver.
Everest Ultimate detects the card.
But the driver cannot.
There is no Windows Server 2008 driver for the Intel(R) 82567LM Gigabit Network Connection. I looked in the driver INF file and see that your network connection has a driver for Vista, but not Server 2008. That is why the driver install does not detect your network connection.
when support win server 2008 x64/x86 was added?
i am get analog problem whith notebook Sony Z11

i'm have analog device in my sony vaio z11 and whant used os windows server 2008 x86
Hi,
Right click on the device in device manager->update device manager->browse my computer for driver software->let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer. Choose Intel->Intel(R) 82567LM-2 Gigabit Network Connection.
Worked for me. ![]()

Make sure you have downloaded and installed the correct driver for your model card as well as selected the right driver for your operating system. Maybe you should try reading more about network card drivers and you might find the answer why your network drivers are not being detected.
Thank you Vinu - Worked pefect just as you describe.
Thank You Vinu, worked perfectly!!!
